Jeffrey Alan Walsh
Age 38, of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away unexpectedly at work on Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
Jeff was born June 30, 1968 at Ft. Sill, OK. He was a 1986 graduate of Kennett High School. He worked as a rural letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, Landenberg, PA office at the time of his death. Jeff enjoyed NHRA and NASCAR racing, and often took his family to events. He was also an accomplished woodworker and handyman. He loved his family, and was a great help to all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor.
"Jeff" was a loving and beloved husband & father, and is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wood Walsh; and 2 children, Marissa, 11 & Matthew, 3. He is also survived by his mother, Carol Wyatt Walsh, of Newark, DE; a brother, Thomas, of Daytona Beach, FL; and a sister, Jennifer Quay; of Downingtown, PA. Jeff had been preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Walsh, of Kennett Square.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Memorial Service 11 am, Saturday, February 3, 2007, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, High & Union Sts., West Chester, PA. His Viewing will be 6-8 pm, Friday, February 2, 2007, at the DELLAVECCHIA, REILLY, SMITH & BOYD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA. (610) 696-1181, www.drsfh.com. Interment will be private.
